Heather Matz, born Alliston, Ontario 1973, began her career as an artist after studying at Sheridan College in Oakville Ontario. Earlier in her artist endeavours Heather experimented in many mediums and formats until her love of oil painting became prominent in her works. Earlier works were mainly portraiture but currently she is exploring the ideas of spirituality and nature and working on a series expressing this passion.
